Special Tae Kwon Do teacher card

Megan made this card for the birthday of a very special Tae Kwon Do teacher.  Warm wishes to a wonderful person!  (Yes, Michael, we mean you!)

Sweet sixteen diva

Megan attended a great sweet sixteen this weekend. She used the Paper Dolls Teen Scene cartridge with the Cricut Expression.  The leopard trim is Duck Tape. Megan's favorite part of this was the girl's pocketbook which had purple glitter paper.  She hopes her classmate liked it!

moose skiing with snow

Megan used her new Animal Antics Cartridge to make this moose skiing. Since the physical cartridge did not arrive yet from Provocraft, she used the digital image from Cricut Craft room.  Megan wanted snow, so tinsel glitter was perfect!

with gratitude and good will

The last few weeks have been hard. There are so many things to be grateful for, and yet we lost some good friends in the last two months.  Megan has had some setbacks with serial casting on the fingers of her left hand- and yet she never stopped making cards for others- even with casts, swollen fingers, and much pain.  We are so very grateful to the friends we have- holidays are so hard and yet they continue to make us smile.

We are grateful and most of all hopeful for new chances - and perhaps blessings- in 2013.
(Above- Megan with thank you notes she has made- and her healing left hand- which is getting ready to begin casting again in the coming weeks.)
Happy New Year and God Bless you in 2013!

Christmas Cheer

This year especially we need to spread Christmas cheer.  Megan has been making Christmas cards for quite a few months and it is almost time to mail them.

wedding wishes

Megan made this card for a friend attending a wedding.  Not sure why I can not get it to display correctly but this was made with Teddy Bear Parade cartridge, Martha Stewart Tinsel glitter,  I rock gems and a lot  of cricut cuts!  Note the tulle also added to the veil.

Beary Thoughtful Nurse

This card was made for a very wonderful nurse who took care of Megan and her friends at school.  We wish her luck in her new job!

Remembering our heroes

Megan's lemonade stand for Staten Island Project Homefront in Sept was successful- it raised 837 dollars- not bad for a colder evening on a weeknight!  Megan  also made some Christmas Cards for Wounded Warriors.
