116 favors for Charity tea

Megan made the favors for the 5th Annual Manresa Columbiettes Charity Tea. Megan is a Columbiette and often can not make the night time meetings, but supports the charity events. She started making these ladybugs for decorations/favors months ago. She used the Create a critter (2) cartridge and made 116 ladybugs with the Cricut Explore. She also made signs for the tea, signs for raffles and of course happily attended it yesterday. Everything was donated and once all is totaled up, the money will go to local charities or those in need. Megan also proclaimed that next year she is making the favors cupcake shaped! (Always thinking ahead and hitting the sales for supplies!)

her Irish eyes were smiling while she made this card

Megan made this card for a very special friend, and she loved every minute of it!

poster for charity event

Megan made these cuts for a poster for her local dayhab organization. They were having a casino night and Megan made the cuts and designed the poster, she brought the items in and the young men and women made the sign.

Remembering the troops on Valentine's day!

Megan proudly displays cards she did for the troops!

Megan signed each card she did- thank you Dr. Carlson for making it possible for Megan to write her name by herself! (surgery was Sept. 2014). Using the cricut machines has been part of Megan's post op rehab since 2010- 4 difficult surgeries- but after each one she continued to make cards for others and posters for charities...Never give up.....

Not sure how we did this sideways, but you get the idea- here is a one of the cards she did. The others had puppy love and dogs....

late post- Tiny Tim cards with the Explore

Didn't want to post the pictures before Christmas and ruin the surprise of the cards- but then forgot to post! Megan proudly made these with the Explore. Lots of intricate layers but great results with this machine.

getting ready for Christmas- this year with new technology

Megan is enjoying making Christmas cards with the Explore this year. Considering that she is only 5 weeks post op with the right hand, she really is an amazing kid. She loves making cards with lots of details- and if some pieces are too tiny for her to glue, she has no problem having me assist her with a toothpick and Elmer's glue. Every card is literally filled with love. It is all about the fun.
